What I do at VIDA SELECT
I oversee the entire Matchmaking Department, supporting the Matchmaking Managers and Team Leads, streamlining and improving processes, and ensuring success for our clients.
One of my favorite aspects of the role is getting to know and work with so many different types of people, both team members and clients, living all over the world and from all walks of life.
Helping others find love and happiness is a huge perk too, especially when clients come back to say “thank you” and to share the love story journey that we were a part of. It's priceless!

Who am I?
I’ve been with VIDA for over 5 years now, and started as a Matchmaker myself. I was seeking a remote job at the time and this one stood out above all others! It was and still is so fascinating and interesting! Never a boring day at work, that is for sure ;-)
After being a Matchmaker for a couple of years, I moved into a Team Lead role, then became a Manager and eventually Director. I have watched VIDA grow and evolve in such an exciting way over the past 5 years and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!
Outside The Office
I enjoy being with family and friends - we especially enjoy going camping whenever we can. I love going to the gym, and balance that out with a few Netflix series that I’m addicted to. Animal Kingdom, Dead to Me and Atypical are some of my favs and of course, Friends! I have been a Friends fan for a *long* time now.
Advice for prospective candidates
Organization, time management and analytical thinking are crucial. Empathy & patience don’t hurt either! You have to put yourself in so many shoes in just one day: your clients, your Writer, your Scout, your Virtual Assistant and your fellow Matchmakers. Be honest, genuine and yourself during the interviews! Real answers are so much more valuable than trying to give the ‘right’ answer. And ask questions!
