Olivia Kraft

My role is unique, which is a big part of what makes it so fun! On the IT & Innovations side, my team tests and launches new tech and systems for all of VIDA’s departments. And on the QA side, we focus on data reliability. We also work hard to build better processes and streamline or automate where we can in order to help the company work smarter, not harder.

My favorite aspect of my role is that we not only spot problems and inconsistencies within a process, but we also work to build a better experience for the team. Whether it's simply changing the process or automating a piece of it, if we're able to help improve our VIDA team members’ processes to make their lives easier, then we are a happy team in IT!

The flexibility to work from home (or anywhere with a Wi-Fi connection) is huge! The VIDA team is also extremely supportive and caring, and we all look out for and help each other. It’s probably one of the most welcoming, open-minded and supportive teams I’ve ever worked with! It’s not just an amazing working environment - we know how to have fun together. It’s a great balance of providing a top-tier service for our clients and keeping the energy light. We’re always able to have a few laughs along the way together. A healthy work/life balance is a huge deal to us!

I joined VIDA in 2018 as a Matchmaker, and loved the flexibility of the schedule, working from home and the company culture. I ended up taking leadership on the rollout of some new technology, and that transitioned into my role as the Director of the IT, QA and Innovations departments. Growing with VIDA has been such an exciting experience on its own, and I’m really happy the leadership team saw qualities and strengths in me, even some I didn’t realize I had! I’ve learned so much about myself, and have had great support every step of the way.

When I'm not working, I like to spend time with my partners, friends and family. I enjoy doing yoga, reading, hiking, and dabble in a few different video games. Most of the time, you can find me cuddling with my cat at home. :)
